It has recently come to my attention, that though I COMPLETELY understand the "why" of JusT SpInnIng PlaTes..., and the particular spelling, etc; not everyone does...I get tunnel vision,
and forget that not everyone thinks like me (Thank God!!!)
I was in a counseling session once, and was trying to figure out how to describe the overwhelming, perpetual
swirling of thoughts in my head. They were organized, compartmentalized - if you will; but still constantly moving and hard to understand. I'm a visual thinker. The vision of the plates spinning on poles, like in the vaudeville shows, came into my head.
Each thought was it's own plate...I have A LOT of plates spinning in my head!!!
I've used that analogy numerous times, and when I got involved in a mentoring ministry, it just
seemed like the perfect "title" for my part.
Now, about the particular spelling - the T's & I's are capitalized, because someday, I want them to have plates spinning on
them. That's how I visualize when I type, and when I write it, I use disc-like circles...
Just realized I should probably explain my extensive use of (...). I call this my "tag".
I use it with my signature; even have two tattoos with it. I honestly do not do random as much as people think. There is almost always a path, though it may require an explanation.
I encourage people to ask questions...
Finally, I always end my post with "have a good day, and be safe...". I tell everyone I come in contact with to have a good day, and be
safe when we part company. I started this in September, 2001. It's one thing we can ALL do...
I hope this clears up some of the confusion. Thank you, have a good day and be
safe, and keep on JusT
SpInnIng YOUR PlaTes...
