Wisdom Equation...

Knowledge = Power; Fear & Panic = Debilitation. Though this is not by any means "ALL encompassing"; it does cover a plethora of situations, & is a universal truth. I have been contemplating this since the day after my previous blog, actually. It's a large topic; but really simple, if you look at it realistically. Always seek knowledge - that is growth - which is crucial to really living life; & it doesn't necessarily mean "book learning". It can be the gleaning of life-lessons, in your every-day living of life. There are ALWAYS things to be learned, even when you're 103!!! So reach out & claim EVERY life-lesson put before you; but do remember they're not always EASY ones, though just as important. They don't refer to life as the "school of hard-knocks" for nothing. Fear & panic can very easily cause you to freeze & go NOWHERE - but if you look at it another way, you are NOW here; & you get to make the, "What are you gonna do about it, now" choices. Scary, yes; but CAN be exciting. One thing to try & avoid is "Managing by Crisis"; which I pretty much see demonstrated every day of my life, working or not. It's okay, if you're actually working toward ending that cycle; but if you let if perpetuate & continue for years - you're as effective as being on a hamster wheel, & getting NOWHERE. It's really all a matter of your perspective on life; but I'd MUCH rather work smarter, not harder. Have a good day & be safe...
