Can We Ever... #NEVER4GET

That day of which we speak

Second workday of the week

Many questions still remain

For so many to die in vain

Have we Forgotten how the planes

Turned the buildings to terrain?

To be climbed on and to search

While so many people worked

In eventual, futile quest

While thousands pounded into dust

With only memories to remain

And very little left to claim

Bits of paper, single shoes

Random digits, it all flew

Landing in a pile of rubble

People's lives set in a bubble

Did they suffer? Was it quick?

When the mere thought makes you sick

Of the evil plots afoot

But how can one even put

All of this into perspective

How to go on, and to just live?
