An Explanation...

It has recently come to my attention, that though I COMPLETELY understand the "why" of JusT SpInnIng PlaTes..., and the particular spelling, etc; not everyone does...I get tunnel vision, and forget that not everyone thinks like me (Thank God!!!)

I was in a counseling session once, and was trying to figure out how to describe the overwhelming, perpetual swirling of thoughts in my head. They were organized, compartmentalized - if you will; but still constantly moving and hard to understand. I'm a visual thinker. The vision of the plates spinning on poles, like in the vaudeville shows, came into my head. Each thought was it's own plate...I have A LOT of plates spinning in my head!!! (*051219 - lately, I have been visualizing a "Galaxy" of PlaTes SpInnIng...)

I've used that analogy numerous times, and when I got involved in a mentoring ministry, it just seemed like the perfect "title" for my part.

The photo I just inserted today, March 16, 2019, is a pic of the front of a Journal my Friend, Nicole, made for me!!! I am SOOO excited to be able to FINALLY have that dream of what I have seen all these years, achieved. THANK YOU, NICOLE!!! πŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

I also have recently added a Links Page. Check them out, if you get a chance. (Nikki's Vinyl; plus Georgia's Crafty Creations (who has been another MAJOR inspiration; plus Author J. A. Clark, who inspired me to start blogging, in the first place; plus several more.) My skills have not improved to click on link & automatically go there, but am working on it. Thank you all, for your patience.

I also added a page for my Original Poetry. There are some specifically regarding Grief; but is a bit of a variety.

Just realized I should probably explain my extensive use of the ellipses (...). I call this my "tag". I use it with my signature; even have two tattoos with it. I honestly do not do random as much as people think. There is almost always a path, though it may require an explanation. I encourage people to ask questions...

Finally, I always end my post with "have a good day, and be safe...". I tell everyone I come in contact with to have a good day, and be safe when we part company. I started this in September, 2001. It's one thing we can ALL do...

I hope this clears up some of the confusion. Thank you, have a good day and be safe, and keep on JusT SpInnIng YOUR PlaTes...

*011619 Though, initially, I tried to maintain a randomness (wanted to be true to myself), I have attempted to promote Gratefulness - not the platitude-ridden, blindly following "happy go lucky", lack of reality type; but "deep down, regardless of what life throws at me I am sure going to try" type. You know REAL. Otherwise, why bother, right??!

Also, for the last few years, I have been writing a Blog - #ENDtheSILENCEofVIOLENCE, and adminning the website for the Counseling Ministry I volunteer for, at www.ozerministriesinc com. I have been cross-posting (previously in with my JSP... posts; but now have a dedicated cross-posting section I am planning to move all of those to.) JusT SpInnIng my PlaTes..., you know!!!
